Should be pretty easy except that the RAV4 unit may not have power for the Avalon power antenna. I will figure that out when I get the avalon unit out. I am in no rush but just have the fully functional RAV4 unit (Has MP3 changer/USB/Aux in) laying around. Those functions missing on the original Avalon Unit.
